Too often, people seeking help for psychological conditions receive treatment for the mind while ignoring the body. Many studies have shown significant benefits from Pilates and other forms of exercise as an adjunct treatment for depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and other psychological conditions.
Alternately, sports’ people may be training physically, but not aware of the benefits of counselling in helping them to better achieve their goals, or to deal with the trauma of injury.
